How it works:

If you’re on your phone, like everyone these days, you can find our instructors at the bottom of the page. Just scroll down.
3. Pick the day. Yes, if you wish more days, you’ll have to make more appointments, or we’ll make it for you.
4. Pick the time interval you wish to ski.

Payment is usually done AFTER the lesson is over, every day. Booking confirmation is done by us over the phone. In exceptional cases, like the school holidays, we might ask for advance payment, due to high demand and limited time slots.

About Cezar

Cezar is the schools’ founder, so besides the ski lessons, he also created this website and handles all the beaurocracy needed for a ski school to work. He used to be an automotive engineer, with the passion to share his knowledge and to spend time in the outdoors, thus he left his cozy engine design office at Schaeffler Romania for the clean air and skies in Poiana Brasov.

He started teaching skiing in 2015, doing it both here and in Austria, where he was responsible for up to 18 kids simultaneously.

What does he do when he's not skiing?

He’s managing CUB Velo Hub, a bike shop, service and rental with an attached coffee shop. This is a hub that also offers ebike rentals, ebike tours and (urban) cycle training. Obviously, CUB Escape Room is also his creation.

Gabi Ivanov

About Gabi

Gabi is the youngest one of us, an extremely passionate mountain biker who has extended his passion for the mountains to skiing. From 2022 he is also a ski instructor, starting his career in camps in Rânca. He is also a student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brașov, but he kind of left it behind to devote himself to the bike mechanic work and, more recently, being a ski instructor. He is originally from Măcin and has a great passion for these beautiful mountains. We don’t know a better guide than Gabi for the Măcin Mountains.

What does he do when he's not skiing?

He is the chief mechanic at CUB Velo Hub, in the bicycle repair shop where he started to open roads to the repair of electric scooters, being the only one in Brașov that successfully repairs the thousands of existing models of electric scooters. Of course, when he’s free, he downhills on his beautiful Moondraker enduro bicycle.

About Cristi

Cristi is the senior, although he has the youngest soul when it comes to the outdoors. A passionate cyclist himself, he chose to complete his range of activities with alpine skiing, once he decided to move to Brașov. He is also the freshest skier among us, being a long-time “boarder”. He too had a long career as a small IT entrepreneur, until he decided he wanted more manual and outdoor activities.

What does he do when he's not skiing?

What do I do in the summer time?
He’s a chief mechanic at CUB Velo Hub, in the bike repair shop where he is the suspension expert and can obviously handle any bike you give him. Of course, whenever he has any free time, he’ll be up on a bike on one of the beautiful Brasov mountains, on his lovely Scott Genius.
